The purpose of the report is to present a pragmatic appraisal of the basic challenges and trajectory of Russia's transition, and a consistent set of recommendations for bolstering the effectiveness of President George W. Bush's efforts to encourage a successful transformation.

Those making donations or Corporate Grants of $100,000 to $500,000 will receive the pictured submarine model, prepaid. This metal casting of the Kursk is of the highest quality. The Kursk is an Oscar-2 class "aircraft carrier buster" with two nuclear reactors and arsenal of torpedoes and cruise missiles. The model will be shipped with a project salvage diagram of the recovery effort scheduled to recover the 12,000 ton submarine on September 17, 2001.

Those making donations or Corporate Grants of $500,000 and above will receive an invitation to be part of the ceremonies in Murmansk when the families of Kursk victims will be presented with the funds received.
